Request by students to allow viewing of other sessions
Students have expressed interest in being able to view each others sessions.
This requires some sort of schedule to coordinate.
Perhaps we can have a section in the syllabus suggesting volunteers (noting experienced students especially). We can also (somehow?) create a calendar where people can post their volunteered shared session in advance, that notifies other students or at least puts it in a shared space. We'd need a way to restrict what times are available. Some research shows this would be a slog, as there is no "recurring" option or any way to copy. It's being considered for development (along with 1381 other issues).
Right now this would have to be ad hoc. Workflow:
- Syllabus asking for volunteers.
- Student sends email volunteering with scheduled office hours date and time.
- We send an announcement for that date and time and ask for people to confirm they wish to attend.
This all sounds like a big chunk of work. Probably not feasible with our current capability.
