The current XNAT version doesn't allow us to choose a specific field to use for routing. The field that was originally used was the Study Comments field, but that has been removed from some of the scan sequences. Our current version has 4 other fields it checks, but those fields are either inaccessible to us at the scanner or are used for other reasons. The updated XNAT version allows us to pick a specific field to use for routing instead. We can use the Image Comments field to route which contains the information from the Study Comments input in the scanner console. This is the most preferable option because it means there's no change in protocol for the researchers.
